]]>Our last blog entry was right before DFW Photo Expo in Arlington, TX. It was an amazing tradeshow and conference hosted by Arlington Camera.
In our booth, we had several guest photographers photographing our beautiful model Avery, throughout the tradeshow hours. Robert Trawick, Ray Quezada, Eileen Hobt, and Xavier DeLaPaz gave live demonstrations of their favorite XP PhotoGear products and how to use them.
Here are a few behind the scene shots, along with the final images from that shoot..
Here Ray Quezada demonstrated how to use the LiteShaper Panel Kit, LiteShaper MulitFlector, and a Micirobox to create this beautiful portrait below.
Ray Quezada using the Speedbox 70, LiteShaper Mulit-Flector and LiteShaper Panel Kit to create the head shot below
Here Ray Quezada using the Speedbox Diffuser 70 and the LiteShaper MultiFlector and LiteShaper Panel Kit to create this image
A very unique approach to using the LiteShaper Panel Kit to reflect the front of the face! The image was also backlit creatively by the Speedbox Diffuser 70
Robert Trawick before his program XPerience Exposure
Our special night time shoot with Robert Trawick was a great success! Here is our set up (shot with phone camera, sorry for grain)
One Speedbox Diffuser 60 was used for the main light and 2 Speedbox Diffuser 47‘s were used to light the background
Then a rope of fire was pulled across the background to create the fire you see below.
Another example of how to use the LiteShaper MultiFlector for head and shoulder shots, and using a Microbox as the light source
There is no set up shot for this next image, and what a shame because we don’t often see the LiteShaper Panel Kit used in “reverse” set up!
Xavier set the model up in the same costume as Ray had on Saturday. But as you can see, though they used almost the same lighting tools, the outcome was different. The main light is created by the Speedbox Diffuser 70, and on the left side of subject, the black side of the LIteShaper Panel Kit was used to absorb any reflection of light. The LiteShaper Multi Flector was used in the back for backlight and the Microbox MBS was used on camera.
What an fantastic show. We are so thankful to have this opportunity and look forward to next year’s show!
