XP PhotoGear (www.xpphotogear.com) announces their largest light modifier for off camera flash during WPPI, March 11-13, 2013 at Booth #1603. The PCD Kit is a 10×13.9″ Microbox that will reduce hot spots and diffuse light with double layered center diffusion on the front panel. The PCD Kit is made out of the same material as a studio softbox. The PCD Kit fits into a laptop pocket of a camera bag or a back pack and will fold flat for easy storage.
The PCD Kit includes both a Circular and a Strip Mask that will attach to the front of the PCD Microbox. Create perfect catch lights with the circular mask and highlight an area with the strip mask.
A primary objective in modifying the light from a photographic flash is to soften the shadows. The “softness” of a shadow is determined by the SIZE of the light source and the larger the light source, the softer the shadows. Since the photographic flash is a SMALL, high intensity source of light, it produces generally harsh, unattractive shadows. The Microbox line from XP PhotoGear has the double layered center diffusion that will diffuse the flash in an evenly dispersed way.

The Flat Box FB is a 10.5×8” Silver Bendable Reflector with a Diffused Flat Box Cover. The Flat Box RB is a 5×6.5” Silver Bendable Reflector with a Diffused Flat Box Cover.
The New Diffusion Panel on the bendable Flat Box is sewn on to the Bendable and will wrap around the Speedlight quickly in order to diffuse, contain, and soften the light.
It will provide additional light control by creating an even light across its surface and soften the light bounced off the Bendable. Bend, shape, and control reflective or diffused light quickly and easily. The Flat Box series stores flat for compact storage.
